in campagna od in città,
per i bambini di tutto il mondo
che fanno un grande girotondo,
con le mani nelle mani,
sui paralleli e sui meridiani.

Tutto sembrava così incredibilmente morbido, sinuoso e leggero.

Goodnight, спокойной ночи, buonanotte

Ten inches of softness

Autumn mine, now remains the last yellow leaves and I now I can not stop to rest a week.
After seven weeks of relentless hard work, has arrived for my little time to put the pencils smoking in the carton relax the strings voice and think about something else.
holidays have arrived early and for ten days the teacher S will not see anyone.
too, she needs to put the colors in the box, resting his vocal chords and ears and think to embrace Mom and Dad. Friday came from Italy four strangers, loads of wine, salami, pasta, grain, coffee and any other goodness our local. In our little house came home fragrance, the scent of mom and dad. has been great in, but then when you see them at the airport, in front of you ... you you squeeze the heart and we very nearly ran away the tear. The Mom and Dad are always the mom and dad! My mami and my daddy. During these days we are discovering the city and I must say that fascinates me more and more. Moscow this morning gave me a good morning with a fresh blanket of white . had arrived Tuesday to celebrate the first few flakes complications of Eli, Friday the storm of ice water to welcome the holidays and Sunday morning: 10 INCHES OF SOFT! said Moscow Silvia: "Do not forget the north wind, the cold of this city and the Russian people, " said Silvia in Moscow: "It is cold, but I win again!" There are moments for tears, the suffering, the sadness ... but I do not collapse, head-on going forward.
"General Winter, prepared, I am well prepared!
I also have sneakers of Betti and Lu, I just can not lose! "

How I miss friends. I think of you so much and I get the empty belly.
Fortunate to be a teacher is that you always have a lot of hands and smiles around, it's as if you did remember that your friends are there and never forsake you. Two weeks ago, the usual discussion Monday morning on the weekend just past. V., russian, raises his hand, he usually does not say anything, listen and learn. But not now, raise your hand and stares at me, with that stiff upper hand. The I give the floor and he takes something, perhaps a piece of paper from the backpack, keep it hidden and read tells me: "I Saturday I went to the park with mom and dad. Sunday with his mother I memorized this rhyme" Leaving me speechless , his mouth literally hanging open, begins to recite a poem sweeter than my beloved maestro Gianni, Gianni Rodari, which goes like this:

Rhyme for all children,
for Italians and Abyssinians,
for the Russians and the British,
the Americans and the French,
for those blacks such as coal,
as for the red brick,
for the yellow ones that are in China,
where it is night if it is morning here,
for those who are in the midst of the ice
and sleep in a bag of rags,
for those who are in the forest
where monkeys fans always feast,
for those who are over here or over there,
in the countryside or in the city,
for children around the world
that do a great circle,
with his hands in his hands,
the parallels and meridians.

How can a teacher not to be moved by such a marvel?
They are our strength, our future, they are the cry of joy at being together.
And he made me understand, master, we are here together, you Italian Russian I , but it is difficult to learn and learn together.
Hopefully, one day, you can have the good fortune of having a little one in his arms and teach them to live, teach them to discover the world, teaching him how wonderful to live and teach them to love, art more complicated but at the same time the energy of the world.
For now they are here, "my" puppies, my pupils. Now it's up to them to teach him to live. Today we admired the wonders of the city by the Moskva River. Everything seemed so incredibly soft, sinuous and light. gray The city was not noticeable anymore. there were only the harmony of the birds of the hills, the golden onion domes and the magnificence of the red bricks of the Kremlin. "Silvia, this is Moscow!" So I sit and I enjoy the show alone in silence .

Goodnight, спокойной ночи, goodnight S

Passano i giorni e vedo i piccoletti crescere passo dopo passo.

Oggi è toccato a me.

"Losso, bianco, neLo, veLde!"

"Teacher, but I do not know how to do it!"

Time of cold, time to finish the design and annual time to get a moment to pc. Every now and then you have to spend some 'even to themselves.

Friends, here the winter is just around the corner. Yesterday we went down to 5 ° C and today it is better. The winter jacket is now live on us, but I'm trying not to cover up too much otherwise who knows what I will do in January!
Today, the children of the second, during our daily temperature measurement (activity I propose every year to start them from the beginning to the approaching negative numbers), they gave me the joyful news that next weekend is forecasted snow. They are happy (so it seemed to me) and I, sincerely, as well. it's true ... I'm not going to school on a sled as they make every day, but the thrill of ice slide throw from the school I want to try me too :).
Autumn in Moscow, are so colorful and exciting. You are romantic, you're sad, you're breathtaking. But in spite of this I believe that soon will come the time to say goodbye ... I wonder if a "Goodbye!" or with a "Goodbye."

Days go by and I see the little ones grow step by step. The days are long and tiring, it is a second sense in their effort to write a little letter and pass that blessed phrase:

"Teacher, I can not, I can not!"

Know, however, that we teachers happen to say so and not so little as you might think.
To be a teacher is hard work and thinking, that drains you mind and body, although for me it is still the best job in the world.
Today it was my turn to speak, I entered the pupil in the shoes I can not do a thing for me and it was a great personal failure.
In my ideal teacher I always thought that the note was a useless and meaningless. Is reflected with the children on errors, looking for alternative ways to solve problems and disputes, are taught to discuss and reflect. But not today, faced with a very difficult situation I had to give in front of my teacher.
It is not easy and for me it was a pain to take that pen in your hand and say:

"Teacher, but I do not know how to do it!"

Life teaches us this: to know ourselves, to change from day to day, putting one foot after the other like my puppies every day.

They teach that we, as a class (and then arrive at the concept of school, family, society) we are a team, and each has its role, but we all play together, we run together, but if someone falls and gets hurt us all stop and not resume running until all of you will be relieved.
Thanks Mom and Dad for teaching me this and show me every day how important it is to walk together, for better or for worse.

The days go by, the teacher S grows, the puppies grow, growing small AM and every week here comes up to me with his golden sandals and learn.
With its 4 years makes me realize how beautiful it is to learn a new language and how easy it is to understand each other, even if you do not know a word of Italian and I am a Russian.
And then everything becomes magical when he goes to look for my Masai bracelet, touches him and says:

"Losso white Nelo, Velde!"

The colors of my Italy, the colors of Kenya ... where did I leave my heart.

Dasfidania,

S
